We have been reading Charlie and the Chocolate Factory over the past few months. We have also been focusing on persuasive writing. We decided to have a class debate this week. The motion was that 'Willie Wonka was cruel in his treatment of the Oompa Loompas and the children in the factory'. The winning team were the team that proposed the motion. Well done to both teams and our presenter Miriam. Another big well done to our judges Eva, Grace, Iga, Lucja W. and Olivia and also our timekeeper Katie.
